Live English Class: essential Phrasal Verbs (for Intermediate level)
Learn essential English phrasal verbs and expressions with a qualified native British teacher
Course Start Date: 22 Sep 2016
Phrasal Verbs are an essential part of everyday spoken and written English. However, since there are many different types, combinations and uses, and some of them having no logic, many non-native speakers find it really hard to remember them.
This class is specifically designed for learners (Intermediate level and above) who often have difficulty understanding or using basic Phrasal Verbs in English.
You will learn that Phrasal Verbs are two- or three- word combinations of a Verb + Preposition, for example Get on with, Get rid of, Get by, Get away, Get around, Get across… and that they all have different meanings! This can be really frustrating for English learners because using the wrong Phrasal Verb can really change the whole sentence. But if you want to be fluent in English, you need to know them and how they are used.
In this class you will also be able to see how Phrasal Verbs affect the fluency of your speech in English, and make it sound more natural.
Finally, in order to consolidate the learning, there will also be the opportunity for you to practise using the Phrasal Verbs through role-plays with a British native teacher and other students attending the class.
